Neal Steffl is the committee chair. He is the co-director of Health Access MN, a MNsure navigator partner. Neal was the executive director of Southwestern Minnesota Opportunity Council prior to joining Health Access. He has also served on several boards, including Minnesota Community Action Partnership. Neal currently lives in Savage, Minnesota, and receives his health insurance through his employer.
Ann Warner is the committee vice chair. She is retired from a career in the health care industry where she worked to support and build analytics, metrics and measures for the Affordable Care Act and Minnesota Community Measures. Ann also has served on the MN e-Health Advisory Committee. She purchases her health insurance through MNsure and lives in Stillwater, Minnesota.
Lana Barskiy resides in the Twin Cities and receives her health insurance through her large employer. She is the founder, president and CEO of Metropolitan Community Services. She has served on the committee since November 2019.
Dick Klick lives in the Twin Cities and purchases his own health insurance. He is the owner of the Richard Frank Klick Agency and represents seven health insurance companies and products. He has served on the committee since November 2021.
Harvey Perle is a licensed broker and a certified assister with MNsure. He is the owner of an insurance agency. Harvey has served the on board of the Twin Cities QUORUM, Minnesota's LGBTQ+ and allied Chamber of Commerce. Harvey currently lives in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, and receives his insurance through his company.
Cheryl Scheer lives in the Twin Cities and purchases her health insurance through MNsure. She brings her experience as an early retiree purchasing health insurance on the individual market to the committee. She has served on the committee since November 2021.
Jon Vagel resides in Greater Minnesota and received his health insurance from his large employer. He is an insurance agent with Farm Bureau Financial Services with over twenty years' experience in the insurance and investment industry. He has served on the committee since November 2021.
