ARC Account Request Procedure

If a consumer is unable to set up an online account using the remote identity proofing questions, certified assisters may help consumers set up an account through the online Account Request eForm.

Please review the Account Requests section and specifically, the Assister Guide for Account Creation Request eForm in the Helping Consumers section for additional details.

Key points:

  • The assister authorized by the consumer may call the ARC to request the consumer’s credentials.
  • The ARC does not process online Account Request forms therefore they are unable to provide processing timelines or status.
  • The consumer's ID cannot be expired or from a non-US source.
  • Check junk email folders for username and password emails.
